Parthiv Patel, the batting coach for the Gujarat Titans (GT), has provided an update on the players’ availability for their forthcoming IPL 2025 matchup against the Mumbai Indians (MI).
According to the coach, there are no injury worries and every player is available. He also discussed the team’s 11-run loss to Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the previous game.
“Everything is OK. No worries about injuries. Not much was lost on us. We obviously made a few catches, but we also scored 20–30 runs. Look, there’s no question. It has been our main focus. We’re also working on that.
At the pre-match press conference, Parthiv Patel stated, “If you look at it tomorrow, we were playing a game in the open net as per our plans.”
“We are conducting our analysis in the same manner as you guys. We will attempt to correct the faults we made in the previous encounter. I’m very grateful,” he continued.
In their most recent match against the Titans, Punjab Kings produced a strong performance, scoring 243 runs before the bowlers completed the last 11 runs to cut them short.
Jos Buttler (54 off 33) and Sai Sudarshan (74 off 41) both hit outstanding half-centuries, but they were unable to win the match. With two wickets in four overs, Arshdeep Singh was the Kings’ most impressive bowler. Furthermore, the Kings were eventually able to defend the target with to Vijaykumar Vyshak’s methodical death bowling.
Sai Kishore of the Titans was the most economical bowler and the team with the most wickets taken. In four overs, he conceded just 30 runs while taking three wickets. The team captained by Shubman Gill will be hoping to recover in the next match against MI.
