Before the 2025 Indian Premier League, Parthiv Patel, a former cricket player for India, will be appointed as the batting coach for the Gujarat Titans. When Gary Kirsten, the former manager, joined Pakistan as their white-ball head coach, Parthiv was able to join the team. According to sources, Vikram Solanki and Ashish Nehra will remain as director of cricket and head coach, respectively, despite earlier discussions of both of them leaving the team.
Having played 139 games in the lucrative league, Parthiv Patel, who has represented six teams, has amassed 2848 runs at a strike rate of 120.78.
Following his retirement, he has been employed as a commentator, analyst, and broadcaster. He also worked as a scout for Mumbai.
As a Mumbai scout, the cricketer from Ahmedabad has performed admirably and might be useful to the Titans in the forthcoming campaign. The Titans advanced to the 2023 championship game after winning the title in their first season in 2022. To win their sixth title, the Chennai Super Kings, however, beat them on the final ball of the match.
The Gujarat Titans, led by Shubman Gill, finished seventh in the 2024 edition, indicating that they were a different squad after skipper Hardik Pandya joined Mumbai in that season. The administration of the organisation is eager to restructure the team and add players that can assist the team in reclaiming the championship for the same reason.
Parthiv will benefit the Titans, especially in the impending mega-auction, because to his extensive knowledge of domestic cricket. He hasn’t coached a team before, though, so it will be interesting to see how well he does in that capacity should he join Gujarat.

Gill will be the Titans’ first retention as of right now, and Rashid Khan’s future is uncertain. In an attempt to keep the Afghanistan spinner, the team management is in negotiations with him.
