At Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium, the 32nd game of the IPL 2025 season between the Delhi Capitals (DC) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) is presently in progress. Both sides had the same starting lineup going into the game. Sanju Samson, the captain of RR, chose to field first after winning the toss.
The new ball was handed to Jofra Archer for Rajasthan. He bowled first against Abishek Porel and Jake Fraser-McGurk, the openers for Delhi.
Archer gave up 10 runs in a respectable opening over. However, Tushar Deshpande’s second over was the one that gave DC the advantage.
The left-handed hitter received Deshpande’s opening delivery, a full toss, and blasted it over mid-wicket for a boundary. The batter moved down the track and tried a slog after the second ball angled away from him. Archer tried to cut it off, but Porel grabbed a thick outside edge, and the ball sped to third man for another four.
