Prithvi Shaw and his reported girlfriend, Akriti Agarwal, celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi, with the latter posting photos from the auspicious event. Agarwal, a renowned social media influencer, is rumoured to be dating the former India opening batter.
Shaw shared a couple photos last month of himself posing on Indonesia’s Nusa Penida island. Agarwal commented “My perfect view” in the comment box, to which Shaw responded “Ayyyy you”. This caught some admirers’ attention on social media.
Agarwal has over 3.3 million Instagram followers. Meanwhile, on her YouTube account, she has around 90,000 subscribers. They have also been seen a few times in Mumbai.
She congratulated her fans and well-wishers on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, with Shaw by her side.

Prithvi Shaw relocated to Maharashtra from Mumbai earlier this year to pursue his cricket career.
He scored a century in his first game for his new squad. This occurred during a Buchi Babu Trophy 2025 match between Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh on a rank turner in Chennai. While the pitch provided plenty of help to the spinners, Shaw played his natural aggressive game and hammered his way to a combative century.
Shaw went unsold at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega-auction in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, last year. While many supporters expected him to be signed as an injury substitute for any club throughout the tournament, this was not the case. He had to watch the whole competition from the sidelines.
The right-handed batter has played five Tests, six ODIs, and one T20I for India. However, his last international appearance came in July 2021. Shaw would hope that playing for a new team would help him revive his career. A strong domestic season for Maharashtra will help him get back in contention for a comeback to the Indian team.
