On February 16, Gujarat Giants’ leg-spinner Priya Mishra was at her most effective against UP Warriorz, dismissing the Australian pair of Grace Harris and Tahlia McGrath after going wicketless in the opening match.
With scores of 0, 3, 1, 1, 22, and 7 in her previous six games, McGrath hasn’t been playing at her best in the Women’s Premier League.
Despite her best efforts, the right-hander was unable to get bat on the skidder from Priya Mishra and ultimately fell for a second-ball duck in front of the stumps.

Harris had begun streakily, with an inside edge for a four, but a vicious googly took her down. The ball was spinning to upset the timber, and the Australian power-hitter was clueless. The 20-year-old Indian leggie even reacted angrily to it, gesturing “I’m here” and pointing fingers at herself.
As the leg-spinner swept the middle overs, the Warriorz fell from 73/3 to 78/5 in a single over, demonstrating how exposed their middle order is.
