Priyank Panchal remark to a cricket fan suggested he had accepted not making an India debut.
Every cricketer has two careers – the playing & non-playing one. Once I knew I couldn’t play for India, it made sense to begin the latter early and get a headstart. Eventually there’s more to life than cricket #AMAwithPriyank https://t.co/sqMefo8Id1

Each cricket player has two careers: one as a player and one as a non-player. It made logical to start the latter early and gain an advantage after I realised I couldn’t play for India. “In the end, life is about more than cricket,” Panchal said on X.
Priyank Panchal has previously captained India A and made a few appearances as a substitute in the senior side. He has made a few appearances for the Indian red-ball squad, including being called up to replace Rohit Sharma when he was injured.
