One of the Indian Premier League’s (IPL) most recognizable teams, the Rajasthan Royals, has revealed their new uniform for the forthcoming year. The team’s dedication to nurturing young, domestic talent and honoring Rajasthan’s cultural heritage is reflected in this year’s jersey, which was created by the gifted students of NIFT Jodhpur.
Chittorgarh’s Vijay Stambh (Victory Tower) contains elaborate designs that served as the inspiration for the jersey’s design. This ancient tower represents the concept of “Unity in Diversity,” a principle that is strongly aligned with the values of the Rajasthan Royals and is a monument to the bravery and solidarity of the Rajput armies under King Rana Kumbha. In order to produce a powerful symbol of pride and heritage, the jersey’s design combines historic features with a modern look.

Jake Lush McCrum, CEO of Rajasthan Royals, said: “We’re deeply invested in developing talent, whether on or off the field. The creative minds at NIFT Jodhpur have come up with a fantastic design that is etched deep in the history of Rajasthan while giving it a contemporary touch.”
The Director of NIFT Jodhpur, Prof.G. Hari Shankar Prasad, expressed their excitement on being involved with the project “It has been an honor to work on a project that represents Rajasthan’s heritage and to see our work come to life on such a grand platform. We wish our students’ get as grand a stage as possible, and this initiative by the Royals has provided just that. This will encourage all our present and hopefully budding design students a lot.”
Cricket fans are still motivated by the Rajasthan Royals because they showcase the state’s rich culture and provide greatness on and off the field. The squad hopes to start the Indian Premier League season with a bang by introducing this distinctive uniform.
