The RCB skipper recovered with a boundary on the very next delivery, indicating that the incident, which momentarily stopped play for a required concussion test, had no effect on him.
Rajat Patidar was trying to make a lap shot when he misread the bounce and was struck in the grill of his helmet during the third delivery of the 13th over in RCB’s innings.
