On Saturday, May 6, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, the David Warner-led Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore will square off in the 50th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. The game will mark Virat Kohli’s return to Delhi, as the Bangalore squad will be playing there. In the days leading up to the game, Royal Challengers Bangalore posted a video of Kohli when he was a young boy on social media. Rajkumar Sharma, the 34-year-old’s boyhood coach, pondered Kohli’s formative years and described how he was in training in the video.
He visited me on May 30, 1998, together with his father and brother. A highly energetic, hyper, and wicked guy, we could see after a few days that he was significantly different from others. He was highly committed and motivated; he wanted to rule from the start. He was incredibly confident in his ability to accomplish anything. From my academy, Shalaj and Virat were really close friends, according to Rajkumar Sharma in the video.

In the video, a few of Kohli’s childhood memories are discussed. The video also features his mother, his boyhood pal Shalaj, and his coach. Rajkumar Sharma recalled a training-related event in which Kohli requested to play with older players rather than younger ones since they couldn’t get him out
“Virat seldom used to communicate with his junior teammates, so he approached me and requested to be placed in the senior group. He once took a blow to the chest but informed his mother that he would only play with older people. He is unique and endowed by God, according to Rajkumar Sharma.
Additionally, Shalaj’s mother says in the film that the legendary Indian batter used to inquire about what she had prepared for lunch during practice and even requested that she prepare particular dishes for him.
