Shaheen Shah Afridi was one of several Pakistan players who were witnessed praying for Rashid Khan’s late brother, Haji Abdul Halim Shinwari. The Pakistani players commemorated their 39-run victory over Afghanistan by expressing condolences to Rashid, whose brother died lately.
Shinwari was known for being a source of strength in Rashid Khan life.
In a heartbreaking video circulating on social media, Shaheen and several other Pakistani cricketers are seen praying for the deceased soul and comforting Rashid in the Afghanistan changing room.

There were many heartfelt messages penned down for Rashid and his family after his loss. The likes of Ibrahim Zadran and Asghar Afghan from prayed amid the grief for Rashid and his family members.
Haris Rauf (4/31 in 3.5 overs) and Sufiyan Muqeem (2/25 in four overs) starred for the Salman Ali Agha-led side. Agha emerged as the Player of the Match after an unbeaten half-century (53* off 36) in the first innings, including three fours and as many sixes. Rashid (1/26 in four overs) bowled quite superbly. However, it was not meant to be for his team. Afghanistan will next face UAE on Monday, September 1.
