On Sunday, April 7, in Lucknow, during Match 21 of the Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024), wrist spinner Ravi Bishnoi of India and the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) made an incredible catch to dismiss Kane Williamson of the Gujarat Titans. As he bowled his first over, Bishnoi scored a run for his side on the very second ball of his stint.
Williamson mishandled a flighted delivery from the 23-year-old outside off stump, chipping it in the air instead of keeping it along the ground. As he was following through, Bishnoi leaped to his right and stunned the GT batter with one hand. After taking the wicket, the wrist-spinner conducted his signature celebration, leaving everyone in the stadium in awe of his athleticism.

Yash Thakur selects his first IPL match.
Returning to action, LSG chose to bat first and amassed a respectable score of 163/5 in the 20 overs permitted, thanks in large part to a half-century from Marcus Stoinis and crucial contributions from Nicholas Pooran (32 off 22) and KL Rahul (33 off 31).

In response, GT’s openers contributed 54 runs for the first wicket off of 36 balls, giving them a strong start to the powerplay. But they faltered in the middle overs and were finally bowled out for 130, with Yash Thakur picking a fifer with the ball and Krunal Pandya taking 3/11 from his four overs. However, in two overs, Bishnoi recorded figures of 1/8.
