The Champions Trophy 2025 run of the Indian squad is outstanding. On March 4, they defeated Australia by four wickets to advance to their seventh competition final. Using both bat and ball, the Men in Blue put on another outstanding display as they chased down the challenging total set by the Australians.
There were plenty exciting moments to see during the game, and the Indian players had some noteworthy performances. One of the standout performances came from Ravindra Jadeja, who bowled an economical eight-over stretch of 2/40 while grabbing significant wickets of Josh Inglis and Marnus Labuschagne.
The stump microphone captured some of the players’ conversation in addition to the performances. In addition to Jadeja, Rohit Sharma and wicketkeeper KL Rahul participated in the discussion of field placements.
Ravindra Jadeja made a noteworthy and humorous comment to close out the conversation.
Adolescent ball hain, bhai. Le slip. Nikal jaaye kya pata. Take a step. We have three balls remaining. “One might spin,” Rohit informed Rahul.
“Ek ball ghooma hai ab tak, bas (Only one ball has turned thus far),” Rahul replied to Rohit.
“Aap dono baatein karo, main tab tak teen ball daal deta hu. (You guys keep talking, and in the meantime, I’ll bowl the remaining three deliveries),” Jadeja told both the star wicketkeeper and the India skipper.
