Twitter Reactions: Reeza Hendricks smacks century to hand consecutive defeats to Pakistan

Although the visitors appeared confident in their defence, the bowlers fell short of expectations in the second innings. After opener Ryan Rickelton left early for two runs and Matthew Breetzke scored twelve, Reeza Hendricks and Rassie van der Dussen put up a third-wicket partnership of 157 runs.

In the second Twenty20 International at SuperSport Park in Centurion, South Africa defeated Pakistan by seven wickets. In the first Twenty20 International, the team captained by Muhammad Rizwan appeared to be in much better form following a poor batting display in Durban. When Rassie, who often serves as an anchor, made an undefeated 66 runs off 38 deliveries in Centurion, he altered tactics. The pair played aggressive cricket and put in a lot of effort to help the Proteas win easily.

However, Pakistan has to examine a lot of factors following back-to-back losses to South Africa. The seniors’ failure to score runs, the bowling unit’s inconsistent play, and Rizwan’s intentions are some of the issues that require quick solution.
