Along with Muthiah Muralitharan, Rinku Singh was seen ringing the silver-coated Eden Gardens bell to start Match 15 of the current Indian Premier League between the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). It’s noteworthy that Rinku is playing in his 50th game for the team in this particular matchup.
To pay respect to Rinku Singh in front of the crowded venue, SRH’s mentor and spin-bowling coach was called to provide companionship.

Since making his IPL debut in 2018, Rinku has played in every installment except for the 2021 season, when he was sidelined by a knee ailment. Rinku’s most successful season was the 2023 Indian Premier League, where he amassed 474 runs with a strike rate of 149.52 in 14 innings.
The most costly player that the KKR management kept before last year’s two-day big auction in Jeddah was Rinku. He was paid INR 13 crore to be kept. It was fairly obvious that Shah Rukh Khan, the proprietor of the think tank, placed a great deal of faith in his ability as a player.
