In the game against CSK, Rishabh Pant hit a spectacular one-handed six. To get as many runs as possible, the LSG captain whacked Matheesha Pathirana’s bouncer over the fence. The Southpaw made a good connection with the ball and was able to send it beyond the square leg area without even fully extending both arms.
On the previous delivery, Pathirana attempted to bowl yorkers but ended up bowling a pair of wides, forcing him to move short. Pant made a good connection after recognising the rear of a length delivery. Pant got everything on his shot, but the ball went into the stands when he only used one hand to complete the follow-through.

The shot was one of Pant’s signatures. Usually, the star batter makes these kinds of shots occasionally. Pant had not made such a shot in a long time. But in order to restore his confidence, Pant made sure to take his time in the middle and score enough runs. He contributed to LSG’s 166 runs scored overall.
Rishabh Pant reaches his IPL 2025 first fifty.
The IPL 2025 saw the LSG hitter score more than 50 runs in an innings for the first time. Pant got off to a strong start, reaching 21(12) at one point throughout the game. As the game went on, the star batter slowed down since the ball did not land on the bat with ease. In the middle overs, the LSG captain had trouble scoring enough runs.
When he was 38(36), he was unable to rotate strike effectively against Noor Ahmad. In the last overs, nevertheless, the gifted hitter attacked the bowlers. Pant played 49 balls and amassed 63 runs during his time in the middle, including four fours and sixes apiece.
