Ahead of India’s five-match series against England, wicketkeeper-batsman and vice-captain Rishabh Pant hit a stunning six during a practice session at Kent County Cricket Ground, breaking the roof.
The incident occurred during India’s training session at the Kent Cricket Ground, where the team is also prepping for their previous practices at the famed Lord’s Cricket Ground. Facing off-spinner Washington Sundar in the nets, the southpaw delivered a slog sweep that landed on the roof structure of the stand.

Rishabh PantPant is coming off a dismal IPL 2025 campaign with Lucknow Super Giants, scoring only 269 runs across 13 innings. However, the youngster regained his form in the final league game, scoring an unbeaten 118 off 61 balls against RCB.
The 27-year-old has previously excelled in English conditions, hitting 556 runs in nine Tests, including two hundreds. His attacking style of cricket makes him a valuable member of India’s red-ball squad. Meanwhile, the Indian team is in a transitional period following the retirements of veterans Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
The Shubman Gill-led squad arrived in England recently and began their practice sessions at Lord’s before shifting some of their drills to the Kent ground, where they will face the India A squad in an intra-squad match starting June 13.
