CP Rizwan, an accomplished hitter from the United Arab Emirates, recently declared his desire to participate in the 2027 ODI World Cup in South Africa. The 36-year-old has scored 323 runs in 18 T20Is and 948 runs in 42 ODIs.
At the end of the November 22 Emirates D50 2024 tournament, Rizwan was the top run scorer. At an incredible average of 170.5 and a strike rate of 86.67, he amassed 325 runs from five games. Under his direction, Sharjah Bukhatir XI placed third in the standings. The Tellicherry native hopes that his efforts as the team’s captain and batsman will enable him to return to the national squad.

So, my time there was really beneficial. As a bowler, I took wickets and averaged 170.5 in the Emirates D50. I am therefore very confident. I’m certain I can do more for the national team, and I’ll undoubtedly be a major factor in many upcoming triumphs,” he said.
