The cricket world is abuzz with speculation these days regarding the participation of the renowned Indian team of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in the next T20 World Cup, which the USA and the West Indies will co-host in early June.
After India’s 2022 T20 World Cup quarterfinal loss to England, the two idols of Indian cricket have not participated in a Twenty20 international match. Rohit Sharma, the captain of India, was questioned about his possible participation in the T20 World Cup before the first Test match between South Africa and India. With a typically witty reply, the seasoned activist mocked the supporters.
“We strive to seize any chance we are presented with. I am aware of your desired response. The Mumbai batter assured me that you would receive it shortly.
Typical Rohit Sharma in press conference 😎😂🔥
Reporter – Do you have desperation to win T20 Wc ?
Rohit Sharma – Whatever opportunity we get , We try to win that. I know what answer you want. Surely you will get it soon.

India is seeking its first series victory in South Africa
Since no Indian side has ever won a Test series on South African soil, Rohit Sharma and company are in for a tremendous opportunity. When India previously visited the Rainbow Nation in 2021–2022, Kohli was the captain, and after starting the series with a win in Centurion, India lost two Test matches.
The two titans of cricket will only play a few Test matches together this time. With some of the best players in red-ball cricket, fans are in for a thrilling series. In addition, South African opener Dean Elgar, who will retire from international cricket at the end of the season, is celebrating a significant milestone with the two-match Test series.
