Legends of Indian cricket who have left their names in the annals of the legendary Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai came together to commemorate the stadium’s 50th anniversary.
Ajinkya Rahane, Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar, Ravi Shastri, and Rohit Sharma were among the celebrities that attended the celebration at Wankhede. As the icons shared their recollections and experiences related to the stadium, the evening was intended to honour its rich past.
Upon Shastri’s arrival, he selected a seat on the far left of the sectioned seating configuration on stage. The Indian captain, Rohit, arrived at the event shortly after. The 37-year-old then asked Shastri to move from the corner seat to the centre one. On social media, Rohit received a lot of acclaim for the considerate deed.

After getting an autograph, a young fan avoids Rohit Sharma’s fist bump.
A young admirer approached Rohit for his autograph during the event, which led to a humorous moment. Rohit, who was seated between Rahane and Tendulkar, was surprised when the fan turned away from the other icons and concentrated only on him. The Indian skipper started a fist bump and signed the fan’s bat. But the fan rushed off, humiliating the seasoned opener and left Rahane inconsolable. After a while, the young fan came back to finish the fist bump, which made everyone around him chuckle.
