Kuldeep Yadav’s performance on the field during Tuesday, March 4’s Semi-Final 1 match between India and Australia at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium did not sit well with Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.
Steve Smith flicked a full delivery to Virat Kohli at mid-wicket in the 32nd over of the first innings, causing the incident.
The former captain of India delivered the ball hard and flat at the non-striker’s end. Kuldeep considered picking up the ball but changed his mind at the last second. Rohit stopped the ball as he backed up at cover.
Since they wanted Kuldeep to support the throw, Rohit and Virat Kohli were spotted getting upset with him. However, Smith had already made his crease by that point, which may have contributed to Kuldeep’s decision to not stop the ball.

Steve Smith and Glenn Maxwell were fired shortly after each other.
When he removed a composed Steve Smith in the 37th over, Mohammed Shami gave India a significant boost. This ended a smooth 54-run partnership between Smith and Alex Carey off 58 balls for the fifth wicket. Smith attempted a low full-toss that crashed into off-stump but was unsuccessful in hitting a boundary down the ground. On a difficult track for batting, the Australian captain scored 73 from 96 balls and had to return to the pavilion.
Smith was dismissed, and Glenn Maxwell stepped out to the center. In the next over, he smacked a six against Axar Patel. But just after this, the left-arm spinner recovered and used a straight delivery to clear up the troublesome Maxwell. The double blow put Australia down to 205/6 in the 38th over. The Men in Yellow are trying to score a high score on a challenging surface, and Carey is the key.
