A floodlight malfunctioned at the end of the wicket, and the game was cancelled. The news that IPL 2025 would be suspended surfaced less than twenty-four hours later.
The Dharamsala match between PBKS and DC was declared void following the tournament’s postponement, with neither runs nor wickets counted towards the players’ records. In the last match, which took place in Dharamsala, PBKS had defeated LSG handily.
