One of the world’s most respected cricket players is Virat Kohli. The younger generation also thinks highly of him. At SuperSport Park in Centurion, ahead of the India vs. South Africa Boxing Day Test match, a young fan met with veteran commentator Mark Nicholas to have his Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) jersey signed by captain Virat Kohli.
While the former captain of India was busy practicing, he took a moment to make the child smile and give him an experience he would want to remember and treasure forever. Kohli signed the RCB shirt, posed for pictures with his adorable fan, and Nicholas joined him. Social media users have showered the touching video with affection.

On Day 1, however, when Tony de Zorzi gave him a reprieve early on, Virat Kohli left the field for 38 in India’s opening inning. He tried to steal it behind Kyle Verreynne, but Kagiso Rabada’s peach of a delivery proved too strong for him.
Day 2 saw India wiped out for 245 runs. Dean Elgar, who scored 140 off 211 deliveries and was still undefeated, was the star of the South African batting display. The hosts gained momentum thanks to debutant David Bedingham’s strong 56-run innings and his 131-run partnership with Elgar for the fourth wicket. Day 2 ended with the Proteas finishing on 256/5, an 11-point lead, after Bedingham and Vereynne left in rapid succession.
The Indian bowling star of the tournament, Jasprit Bumrah, took two wickets in 16 overs while conceding just 48 runs. On Day 3, the visitors would aim to get rid of the final five South African wickets as soon as possible to prevent giving up a sizable first-inning lead.
