Every time Sachin Tendulkar picked up the bat, he was renowned for hammering the opposition. Though, he was at his best when playing Pakistan. Fans of cricket still recall his 98-run performance against the Men in Green at the Centurion during the ODI World Cup in 2003. Every serious cricket fan still vividly remembers his hook shot over third man off Shoaib Akhtar’s quick ball.
Twenty years later, Sachin Tendulkar is still defeating Shoaib, this time on ‘X’. The ‘Rawalpindi Express’ placed on the platform on Friday, October 13 with the caption “History will repeat itself tomorrow” and the advice to maintain composure. The match between India and Pakistan at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera was the subject of his post.
More specifically, India defeated Pakistan to defeat Babar Azam’s team with 117 balls remaining and seven wickets in hand. Following the win, the Twitterati reacted to Akhtar’s post in the most amusing ways possible. The God of Cricket was also quick to respond, and this time he provided a somewhat cheeky remark.
Sachin reposted on his ‘X’, “My friend, aap ka advice follow kiya aur sab kuch billlkoool THANDA rakha… ”

Continuing with the game, the Pakistani team was compelled to bat first at Motera on a dry surface. They did get off to a good start, but they suddenly lost their way, losing their eight wickets for just 36 runs after briefly reaching 155/2.
Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill got off to a good start in their 192-run chase, but Gill was unable to build on it. However, India did not have any additional setbacks to reach 192 thanks to a blitzkrieg by captain Sharma (86 off 63 balls) and a steady fifty by Shreyas Iyer (unbeaten 53 off 62 balls). With three wins in as many games as they have played thus far, the Indian team went to the top of the points table with the triumph.
