In the PSL 2025 match against Peshawar Zalmi, Saud Shakeel, the skipper and opening batsman for the Quetta Gladiators, made a spectacular no-look scoop off Alzarri Joseph. In just a few milliseconds, Shakeel decided to bring his inventive shot out after making a snap judgement based on the bowler’s line and length.
Joseph was hit for a boundary and circled the wicket. The pacer with the right arm attempted to provide a length delivery. Shakeel got ready for the unconventional shot and did it well. The Southpaw didn’t even bother to check the ball’s location.

The shot appeared clean and perfectly aimed as it passed over the barrier. Shakeel kept on his excellent knocking after feeling good about his batting. While in the middle, the Gladiators’ opener batted well. He started his side quickly with some beautiful strokes on a nice batting surface.
