Shahid Kapoor, a popular Bollywood actor, recently tasted cricket royalty when he played the beautiful sport at London’s historic Lords Cricket Ground. Kapoor is known to be a huge cricket lover. He can bat and bowl at medium pace. The New Delhi native has played cricketers on screen in two films, “Dil Bole Hadippa!” and “Jersey”. In both flicks, he astonished viewers with his traditional batting stance and perfect shots.
Every cricketer dreams of playing at Lord’s. Kapoor, as an actor, recently received the honour, with his wife Mira Rajput cheering him on from the stands. His excitement could be seen in the photographs. He was completely prepared for the occasion, wearing a white jersey and cricket shoes. Rajput matched the vibe by wearing a white shirt.
“What a day!” Kapoor stated in the caption of his post, which included photos from his visit to the Home of Cricket.

Meanwhile, in others, he could be seen enjoying his time on the field with his teammates. Kapoor has played in many renowned venues in his life, but the encounter at Lord’s will surely hold a special place in his heart.
On the work front, Kapoor is busy shooting “Arjun Ustara”. The movie is helmed by Vishal Bhardwaj, who has directed Kapoor in movies like Kaminey and Haider in the past. Arjun Ustara is backed by produced Sajid Nadiadwala, and features an ensemble cast, including Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar, and Randeep Hooda, with a special appearance for Vikrant Massey. The film is expected to hit theatres in December 2025.
The Lord’s, on the other hand, recently gave cricket enthusiasts a thrilling encounter featuring India and England. In the third Test in the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025, the Three Lions defeated the Asian giants by 22 runs on the final day.
