Before the third T20I against Ireland on March 31 at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram, Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan got a shirt from the Argentina National Cricket Team. Hernan Fennell, the captain of Argentina’s men’s cricket team, and Alison Stocks, the captain of Argentina’s women’s cricket team, gave the shirt to the Bangladesh team as a gift.
Bangladesh won the three-match T20I series against Ireland with the help of Shakib. They beat Ireland by 22 and 77 runs in the first two games. In the second T20I, the Bangladesh captain was in great shape. His all-around play helped his team win the series, and he was rightly named Player of the Match for scoring 38*(24) and taking 5/22 (4 overs) with the ball.
Bangladesh Cricket shared the pictures of Shakib Al Hasan getting the Argentina shirt from the commentator who brought it to Bangladesh, Andrew Leonard.

During the second T20I, the 36-year-old also passed Tim Southee’s record of 134 wickets in T20Is. He now has 136 wickets in 114 matches at an average of 20.78 and an economy of 6.80, with two five-wicket hauls.
In the third T20I, Ireland beat Bangladesh by seven wickets.
Shakib Al Hasan also has the most wickets for his country, with 301 in ODIs and 231 in Tests. The left-handed batter also has the most runs for his team in T20Is, with 2345 runs at an average of 23.68 and a strike rate of 122.26. He has scored 12 half-centuries over the course of his career.
Back to the third T20I between Bangladesh and Ireland, the Irish team surprised the hosts by winning by seven wickets and avoiding a whitewash. After choosing to bat first, Bangladesh were bowled out for 124 runs, with only Shamim Hossain scoring a half-century with 51 runs (42). In response, Ireland easily reached the target in 14 overs, with the Irish captain, Paul Stirling, scoring 77 runs off 41 balls.
