In the current IPL (Indian Premier League) season, the Punjab Kings find themselves in a somewhat complicated scenario. Punjab has managed to win two of the eight games they have played in the competition thus far, losing the other six. Additionally, they are ranked eighth in the points table.
The fact that normal captain Shikhar Dhawan is not there may be the reason for their poor performances. The seasoned batsman hurt himself prior to PBKS’s April 13 game against the Rajasthan Royals. Since then, Sam Curran has led the team.
The team’s spin bowling coach, Sunil Joshi, came forth ahead of the Punjab Kings’ next match to give an update on Dhawan’s injury status. He even hinted that the opener might be ready for the team’s next match against the Kolkata Knight Riders.
“We miss the batting services of Shikhar Dhawan, who sustained an injury on the ground. He’s on his way back to health. At the nets, we witnessed him batting. India Today cited Joshi as saying, “Hopefully, he is recovering and will be ready for the next game.”
We want to get back up again. Joshi.
Sunil Joshi also discussed PBKS’s strategy for the remaining games of the season. According to the coach, every squad experiences wins and losses, but their only goal is to accumulate points and move up the standings.
“Remember that every squad will have victories and defeats. We want to get back up again. The game is played in a brief manner where players can strike a six on the best ball or take a wicket on a loose ball, according to Joshi.

“How you physically and emotionally prepare yourself for game day will determine how it goes. Your body cannot fire when you’re under pressure to perform. One ball at a time, you have to have your act together,” he continued.
