All-rounder Sunil Narine of the Kolkata Knight Riders was dismissed for 27(20) against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Monday, April 8, at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, marking his team’s fourth IPL 2024 match where he once again fell short of expectations. Though his innings were brief, the southpaw made sure to thrill his supporters by hitting three fours and two sixes while he was at the crease.
Narine blasted Maheesh Theekshana for a massive maximum over long on, showcasing his incredible six-hitting ability. As Theekshana bowled the ball precisely in his slot on the final ball of the fifth over in the first inning, the KKR stood in his crease. The cricket player from the West Indies gave it his all for an extended period of time, sending the ball hurtling toward the night sky on its way to a maximum.
