Against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), he scored his second half-century of the season. With four fours and just as many sixes, the RCB opener put up a stunning knock of 83* (59).
Throughout his innings, Virat Kohli demonstrated his diverse range of strokes, hitting the KKR bowlers all over the pitch. In the third over of the innings, he produced his signature flip, sending Mitchell Starc sailing over deep mid-wicket and into the stands. The great batsman used perfect wrist work to send a fullish delivery bowled on his pads into the stands on the second ball of the over.
