Shreyas Iyer’s sister, Shresta Iyer, sent a heartwarming letter to her brother following his extraordinary journey in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. Despite the Punjab Kings (PBKS) finished second after losing to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the final on June 3, Shresta showed great pleasure in Shreyas’ achievements.
Shresta highlighted the PBKS captain as a wonderful guy and expressed her respect for his outstanding performance and commitment to the game during the season. She praised him for his efforts, calling him a natural leader and great inspiration.
“You are a very remarkable individual with incredible talent! No matter what we say about you, it will never enough. You’ve shown yourself time and again, and I’m truly proud of what you’ve accomplished – it’s a great accomplishment. I admire you not only for your outstanding achievement in this year’s IPL, but also for the tireless effort and dedication that went into making it possible. You are my true advocate, natural leader, and inspiration. “Win or lose, you’ll always be a winner in my eyes,” Shresta commented on her official Instagram account.

Shresta Iyer reflected on the remarkable trip PBKS has taken this season. PBKS made it to the IPL final after 11 years. She praised the entire franchise, stating that each member shown their worth and that everyone was a true winner.
