In the first Women’s Premier League (WPL), India’s rising star Shreyanka Patil was the center of attention. She made headlines not only for her outstanding batting but also for her goals of becoming a top death-over player and establishing herself as a trustworthy all-round player.
With six wickets in seven games, she became the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) top wicket-taker. Her abilities showed promise, though, even with a somewhat higher economy rate of 9.84. The adolescent had another exciting event during the competition when she met Virat Kohli, which would always be in her memory as a fangirl.
“I mentioned that I wanted a photo with Virat Kohli because he has been my inspiration, and my father’s friend who works with the RCB management did too. After completing my state preparation, I headed to the Chinnaswamy. After that, he arrived and grabbed the phone to take a selfie. And I exclaimed, “Wow.” It was a unique occasion to begin with, even though I did not have the opportunity to speak with him at the time. Shreyanka Patil told India Today.

“I felt like bowling the ‘ball of the day’ when I dismissed Tahlia,” said Shreyanka Patil.
During the recent ODI series against Australia, Shreyanka Patil was a member of the Indian team. The 21-year-old had moments of happiness when she was only inches away from completing a hat-trick. The young bowler finished with statistics of 3/57 after taking the important wickets of Beth Mooney, Tahlia McGrath, and Ash Gardner in the third game. She said that she was especially excited about McGrath’s ejection since she had previously discussed it with her coach.
“Tahlia McGrath is here. My coach told me, “You have to get Tahlia out, you have to dismiss her bat-bad, LBW or something,” during our conversation. I desired Beth Mooney, Tahlia, and Phoebe Litchfield. I mean, I wanted wickets for Tahlia and (Ellyse) Perry, but wickets for everyone. Perry was sadly unavailable to me, but I’m still pleased with my ODI bowling performance. I felt like I was bowling the “ball of the day” when I dismissed Tahlia, she continued.
