During their IPL 2025 encounter against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Punjab Kings (PBKS) skipper Shreyas Iyer became enraged. When wicketkeeper Prabhsimran Singh caught Travis Head behind, Glenn Maxwell of PBKS thought he had dismissed him.
However, after seeing the umpire give it not out, I instantly signalled for a DRS review. A short while later, though, Shreyas Iyer was observed to be angry with one of his teammates. Iyer gestured to himself while his colleagues fought for a review. Iyer finally made the decision to move forward with a DRS review at Maxwell’s request.

As it turned out, Travis Head survived the whole experience alive. Exactly which teammate Iyer seemed to be unhappy with remained unknown. The phrase “Pehle merese puch na (Ask me first)” was evident even if Iyer’s remarks were not audible.
Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head beat up the bowlers for the PBKS.
The PBKS captain was not thrilled with the ruling and told the umpire so before choosing to have the judgement reviewed. Because of their strong batting, the SRH players were unaffected by the drama on the pitch. In the 2025 Indian Premier League, Head and Abhishek had the highest wicket-sharing partnership.
With nine fours and three sixes during his spell in the middle, Head amassed 66 runs in 37 balls. The aggressiveness of Sharma at the other end caused the Australian to start the match a little slowly, but he quickened his tempo in the middle overs phase. He attacked the spinners, assisting SRH in swiftly pursuing the goal.
Abhishek, however, stole the stage with a magnificent innings. The great batsman hit 10 sixes and 14 fours in 55 innings to amass 141 runs. It was the league’s greatest chasing score and the third-highest batter’s solo score.
