[WATCH] Shubman Gill has immense understanding of the game; he has a great future as a leader: Rashid Khan

Rashid Khan, the star spinner for Afghanistan, has given his opinions and said he is impressed with Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill. He also said that the star Indian batsman would have a good career in cricket. Notably, Gill has been a reliable player for the Titans throughout his four seasons with them in the IPL 2025. Following Hardik Pandya’s move to the Mumbai Indians last year, he was named captain.

Watching Shubman Gill for the past three years has helped me grow: Sai Sudharsan

In the meantime, Sai Sudharsan, a teammate of Gill and Rashid, also talked candidly about their time with captain Gill. The 23-year-old claimed that he frequently asks Gill for batting tips and that seeing him play has helped him develop as a player.

“Over the past three years, I’ve learnt a lot from watching him. Whatever you know about my doubts. Sudharsan said Star Sports, “I would absolutely love to talk to him about how he feels or what I can do better if I’m having trouble in the nets or when I’m against someone.

As a result, I believe that he has helped me grow, and I have also gained quite a bit by watching him play. We’ve had a lot of memories on the pitch together, so even if I have some reservations or have a rough session, I’ll watch him for a while before he bats to gain his confidence’, he continued.

Regarding their performance in the IPL 2025, GT is presently leading the points table with only two losses in their last seven games.
