Shubman Gill, captain of the Gujarat Titans (GT), disclosed that Kagiso Rabada, a South African pacer, will need to wait another ten days to return to the team for the current Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.
against Saturday, April 19, the Titans, who have won four of their six IPL 2025 games, will take against the Delhi Capitals (DC) at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.
Prior to his return to South Africa, Rabada participated in the first two games. “We’re just waiting for him,” GT assistant coach Ashish Kapoor stated prior to the match against DC. Maybe he’ll come back.
He has left because of personal and family issues. He’ll return once he’s resolved that, assuming it’s resolved in time. But we’re not sure when. Everyone else is waiting, and so are we.
At the toss, Shubman Gill gave a clear update, saying, “Hopefully, Rabada will return within the next 10 days.” Kapoor did not provide one.
Before returning, Rabada might have to miss the games against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) that GT has scheduled during the next ten days.
