Mohammed Siraj was obviously upset with Sai Kishore after the latter messed up his slide and conceded six runs during Match 67 of the 2017 Indian Premier League season between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium. CSK chose to bat first after winning the toss in what was both teams’ final league game.
Sai Kishore’s error occurred on the fifth delivery of the fifth over in CSK’s innings. Urvil Patel drove a length delivery to midoff. Shubman Gill, GT’s captain, chose to attempt a direct hit. However, the ball bounced off the stumps, allowing Urvil to score the second run. However, Kishore’s missed slide meant that the hitters in the centre scored the third run. Siraj was furious after this particular sequence of events.

This was Siraj’s third consecutive over.
He had conceded 27 runs without taking a wicket. In terms of how the first innings progressed, CSK finished on 230/5 at the end of their 20-over quota. Siraj’s fourth over, the 19th of the innings, resulted in 20 runs. The right-arm pacer finished with a score of 0/47 in four overs.
In terms of the guests, each batter made a valuable contribution. Dewald Brevis had the highest scoring average of 57 off 23. Devon Conway (52 off 35) was the other batsman to reach fifty. Prasidh Krishna stood out as GT’s best bowler. He ended up giving only 22 runs in his four-over performance while also picking up two wickets.
CSK’s innings contained a total of 15 sixes, the most by the franchise in an innings this season. If they can keep the hosts to a score of 121 or lower, they may finish ahead of the Rajasthan Royals.
