In the 6th IPL 2025 encounter between the Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders, Spencer Johnson sent Jofra Archer’s off-stump soaring. The hitter missed a good-length offering from the left-arm pacer. Johnson’s ball consequently uprooted the off stump for a few rolls in addition to striking the top of it.
RR struggled at bat, losing wickets frequently in the middle overs. Jofra had to deliver some hits in order to boost his team’s total. After a few hits from the star player, RR reached the 150-run milestone. With two balls remaining in the final over of RR’s innings, Spencer was hit for eleven runs.
Next, the KKR bowler targeted the stump line while varying his length. Jofra swung at it and missed it entirely, therefore it was successful. As the off-stump went on a stadium tour, the ball took care of the rest. Johnson knew it didn’t really matter at that stage in the game, so he hardly celebrated.

Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Quinton de Kock bring KKR home.
On a reasonably excellent batting surface, Rajasthan scored a below-average total. Although there was some purchase for the spinners on the surface, 151 wasn’t comparable. The host team paid a heavy price for the batters’ failure, particularly those who finished outside the top three, as the total was insufficient.
After losing their first two wickets for 70 runs and having to chase 82 runs in less than 60 balls, KKR did struggle to get going in the opening half of the run chase. Quinton De Kock and Angkrish Raghuvanshi led KKR home, and they never looked back.
De Kock had an outstanding innings after being set, hitting an undefeated 97*(61) with eight fours and six sixes. Angkrish assisted him at the other end with a superb knock of an undefeated 22*(15). With 15 balls remaining, the pair made sure KKR chased the target by 8 wickets.
