IPL 2025: SRH vs LSG – Stats &; Records at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad

In their last match against RR in Hyderabad, SRH displayed their signature explosive batting, setting a new record. Throughout the innings, Ishan Kishan maintained the pace, while Travis Head spearheaded the charge during the powerplay. The first Indian batsman to score an IPL century for SRH was Kishan, who hit a fast-moving fifty. The Orange Army, with strong support from his comrades, scored an incredible 286—the second-highest total in IPL history. Jofra Archer’s performance was forgettable as he gave up 76 runs, the most costly spell in IPL history.

In their attempt to set a new record, RR lost early wickets, but Sanju Samson and Dhruv Jurel produced brilliant fifties. Shubham Dubey and Shimron Hetmyer took advantage of their efforts, and the result was the second-highest match aggregate in T20 cricket history.

At Visakhapatnam, LSG lost heartbreakingly to DC in a thrilling match. Nicholas Pooran and Mitchell Marsh both struck scorching 70s, but Kuldeep Yadav brought DC back into the match by bowling them to 210 after they had originally targeted 230+.

DC’s chase got off to a terrible start after they were pushed behind by Shardul Thakur’s double in the opening over. They tried, but there didn’t seem to be any chance of returning.

The final eight overs required 92 runs, and it ultimately came down to Ashutosh Sharma and rookie Vipraj Nigam. Although Sharma got off to a poor start, Nigam’s incredible knock of 39 off just 15 balls set the stage for a thrilling conclusion. Under exciting circumstances, Sharma maintained composure and won by a last wicket in the penultimate over, despite the fact that a considerable amount of runs were still needed.
