The three-match T20I series between Afghanistan and Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) saw the formal release of the squad selection on Monday. Wanindu Hasaranga, an all-around player, is the team’s captain, and Charith Asalanka serves as his deputy.

Pathum Nissanka, Kusal Mendis, and Angelo Mathews are a few notable players on the chosen team, which Sports Minister Harin Fernando authorized. Rising talents like Maheesh Theekshana and Matheesha Pathirana are also part of the team.
Binura Fernando has taken over for Dushmantha Chameera, who is recuperating from an injury he sustained during the ODI series against Afghanistan.
