Prior to the 66th IPL 2025 match against the Delhi Capitals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, Punjab Kings’ main foreign players, including Josh Inglis, Aaron Hardie, Marcus Stoinis, and Kyle Jamieson, are expected to join their team. Because of security concerns in the vicinity of the border, PBKS will be moving the location of their games.
The 18th league edition was temporarily halted due to the tension between India and Pakistan, allowing the international players to take a few days off and return home. The return of international players to their respective squads has been a little slow since the league’s resumption. There are a lot of these players in PBKS.
Aside from the players who were already on the squad, a large number of players will be joining the team for the season as several players have had to withdraw halfway through because of national obligations. Interestingly, during the match against the Rajasthan Royals, Punjab was missing some of their most important players, including Inglis and Stoinis.
Marcus Stoinis, Josh Inglis, Aaron Hardie, and Kyle Jamieson’s availability for PBKS in the 2025 Indian Premier League
The Delhi Capitals, who will be playing their final game of the season after playing MI in their home field on Wednesday, May 21, will be their opponent next. On Tuesday, May 20, all of PBKS’s international players will join the team for the crucial match.
Stoinis has amassed 82 runs in seven innings at a strike rate of 167.34 in the 2025 Indian Premier League. At a strike rate of 139.39, Inglis has amassed 92 runs in six innings thanks to some excellent glovework behind the stumps. Hardie has not yet participated in a game this season.
After Lockie Ferguson hurt himself during the first half of the season’s encounter between PBKS and SRH, Jamieson was chosen to take his place. Due to national responsibilities, Marco Jansen will miss the playoffs, hence one of Jamieson or Hardie may be included in the starting lineup.
