The jersey that Team India would be wearing at the iconic event was revealed just one week after the announcement of their preliminary 15-member roster for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024.
After widespread conjecture on social media the day before that a leaked jersey was indeed India’s official T20 jersey, the information was eventually made public the next day, validating the conjectures of internet users.
The official jersey for the Indian cricket team was featured in a video that Adidas, the team’s official sponsor, posted on their X handle. The V-neck of the jersey featured tricolored stripes, and the majority of the sleeves had the iconic Adidas stripes in orange. The base of the sleeves had deep blue embroidery around the circumference, and the T-shirt’s body had a stunning pattern of blue and orange, with the logo of Adidas next to the crest of the Board of Control for Cricket in India.
There was no need to wait any longer for the ardent Indian followers across the globe, as the stylish and fashionable Indian jersey would be up for grabs on May 7 at 10 am IST, both on Adidas’ official website and in physical stores.

The 2024 T20 World Cup will begin on June 5th in India.
India, Ireland, the co-host USA, Canada, and Pakistan—the tournament’s bitter rivals—are all in Group A. The final group-stage match for India will take place in Florida, whereas the first three games of the tournament will all take place in New York.
