[Watch] IPL 2025: Travis Head knocks Jofra Archer for massive six over deep midwicket

At Sunrisers Hyderabad’s match versus Rajasthan Royals at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Sunday, March 23, Travis Head delivered the second delivery of Jofra Archer’s opening over of the 2025 Indian Premier League with complete contempt.

Travis Head smashed a shortish delivery on the middle stump that flew straight for the deep midwicket area a ball after welcome the Englishman to the crease with a blazing boundary. The Southpaw’s willow heaved thunderously. The ball landed amid the ardent fans on the venue’s second deck after traveling far into the stands.+

RR won the toss and chose to field. Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head,

the opening duo, got off to a fast start right away. Former SRH pacer Fazalhaq Farooqi bowled the opening over of the match. Ten runs were produced. However, Abhishek’s party was short-lived.

Yashasvi Jaiswal easily accepted the opportunity at cover point after Maheesh Theekshana dismissed the Indian top-order batsman as he entered his second over inside the powerplay. However, Theekshana’s over was ruined by the recently acquired Ishan Kishan, as the Sri Lankan let up 10 runs in his second over.
