In an attempt to sing the well-known Hindi song “Aaja Meri Gaadi Mein Baith Jaa,” New Zealand sensation Trent Boult startled his Mumbai Indians (MI) teammates, instantly making them smile.
Trent Boult, who has frequently talked about how much he loves music and plays the guitar, accepted the challenge of performing a Hindi song.
His colleagues assist him as he struggles to get the words straight in the video that was shared on MI’s social media account. The moment was made funnier by his accent and attempt. The Kiwi nearly got the phrase right at the end, even though he had trouble with the lyrics.

MI starts the IPL 2025 losing.
With a four-wicket loss to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their season opener at Chepauk, MI made a difficult start to their IPL 2025 campaign. In his first MI game since 2021, Boult gave up 27 runs in three overs while going wicketless.
MI’s batting lineup faltered on a reversing trend, failing to score a high total. While Rohit Sharma was dismissed for a duck, Suryakumar Yadav, the stand-in captain who took over for Hardik Pandya, was unable to make a substantial contribution. But in his first game, rookie spinner Vignesh Puthur took three wickets. After their heartbreaking defeat, MI decided to stop at Jamnagar for some team-building exercises before heading to Ahmedabad for their next matchup with the Gujarat Titans.
