According to reports, India captain Rohit Sharma insisted on having a face-to-face conversation with the player over their dismissal from the team. However, the players have not been informed of the decisions made regarding them since Gambhir joined the team.
“The Champions Trophy will be played after the Test match. According to a top BCCI official cited by Hindustan Times, “even Gautam Gambhir’s position wouldn’t be safe if the performance doesn’t improve.”
