Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sanju Samson gave the Rajasthan Royals (RR) a strong start against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the sixth match of the 2025 Indian Premier League. But in the fifth ball of the fourth over, Vaibhav Arora destroyed Samson’s stumps, drawing the first blood for KKR. The ball was full and angled in the direction of the stumps, making the delivery intriguing.
With only 13 runs to his credit, Samson had to head back to the pavilion after coming forward and trying to hit the ball but failing. After hitting two boundaries, he was enjoying himself in the middle. The RR batsman came down the ground after Arora’s fullish delivery, but he was unable to get a bat onto the ball and eventually had his stumps rattled, giving KKR their maiden wicket.

On the other hand, Jaiswal has held his calm and playing responsibly as of writing. Captain Riyan Parag joined the party and hit two beautiful sixes, leaving the audience in awe
For KKR, Sunil Narine is absent.
Ajinkya Rahane, the captain of KKR, won the toss and decided to field first to begin the match. Even though KKR had the advantage at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, they were forced to bench Sunil Narine, one of their greatest players. However, RR skipper Riyan Parag brought in Wanindu Hasaranga for the match while taking the pitch circumstances into consideration.
In the second innings, the bowlers would struggle with the due factor, but now that the ball rule has changed, it might not be a big problem. Given that both clubs include some of the league’s top players, the match will be exciting to watch. It will be difficult for the team captained by Ajinkya Rahane if RR manages to score anything above 210+.
In the first game, KKR’s strong top order demonstrated their value, but the middle order was unable to turn the tide. Therefore, it will be crucial for them to play this game and bring it home.
