One such instance occurred when they played India. Aasif Sheikh, the opener, made some outstanding cricket plays and scored a memorable half-century against a strong bowling team like India.

Star cricketer Virat Kohli, meanwhile, fumbled his catch in the game’s second over, giving him an extra chance to bat and eventually reach a half-century.

After the game, a few Nepali players were given medals, including Aasif Sheikh, to whom Kohli presented the medal.

Sheikh alked about the encounter and claimed that Kohli joked about needing a medal for himself for dropping his catch as well.

Sheikh mentioned that Virat Kohli had playfully remarked, “I should get a medal too, I dropped your catch.”
