Virat Kohli, a star cricket player with Royal Challengers Bengaluru, has been the most successful hitter in the Indian Premier League. This noteworthy accomplishment comes in addition to the countless runs he has scored for the Indian men’s team on the international scene, which has also made him the most followed Indian on Instagram.
Virat’s social media feed was dominated by brand endorsements and advertising collaborations over the past two to three years, and he had stopped sharing any team or personal accomplishments despite having a sizable fan base. But recently, the cricket player removed all of these posts from his social media page, leaving internet users wondering why he did it.
Virat has now disclosed the reason behind his recent action during an exchange with Danish Sait on the fringes of the 2025 Indian Premier League. During the conversation, he disclosed that he is currently in a situation where he dislikes participating in a lot of social media activity. He added that he does not know for sure what the future holds, but for the time being he would like to avoid online endorsements.
“With regard to social media, I am in a really fascinating area. I am not now in a position where I am actively participating. Future events are unpredictable. Virat stated, “But it definitely needed a reset,” in a video that RCB posted to social media.
