On Sunday, April 13, at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, Virat Kohli was observed letting out a burst of irate energy after hitting his maiden six in the just finished Rajasthan Royals vs. Royal Challengers Bengaluru match. The ball travelled just above the fielder and struck the cameraman behind the fielder, but its trajectory appeared to be one that would drop in Long-on’s hands.
He had only scored 33 off 32 deliveries when the delivery went for a six, and moments after Virat Kohli unleashed the release shot off Kumar Kartikeya, he was spotted hitting his bat in fury.
Notably, before smashing the last ball of the 13th over of the game, Kohli had only managed a couple of boundaries during his 32-ball stay at the crease.

After that, the former RCB captain picked up speed. He finished undefeated with 62 off 45 deliveries. In the end, RCB won by nine wickets with fifteen deliveries remaining. The team from Bengaluru chased 174 runs in 17.3 overs. This resounding victory was RCB’s fourth away victory of the year.
Kohli achieved his second-highest IPL 2025 score. He scored his highest total in the current season, 67 runs, against the Mumbai Indians. He recorded a 92-run partnership with Phil Salt (65 off 33) for the first wicket in nine overs of the run-chase.
Because of his blazing knock at the top of the order, Salt was named Player of the Match. He was the only wicket lost in the Rajat Patidar-led team’s dazzlingly fast-paced run chase. With that triumph, RCB moved up to third place in the standings with four victories in six games and a net run rate of +0.672.
