On April 28 in Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) exacted revenge for their loss to the Delhi Capitals (DC) earlier in the season. Following a masterful performance by the bowlers, Rajat Patidar and company defeated the hosts by six wickets thanks to an outstanding batting performance from Virat Kohli and Krunal Pandya.

Following the game, Virat Kohli made a respectful and loving gesture by touching his childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma’s feet.

An official RCB account posted a video that went viral, capturing the lovely moment between the Indian veteran cricket player and his coach.

Speaking of the game against DC, Bhuvneshwar Kumar helped his team limit the opposition to 162 runs by bowling brilliantly and taking three wickets. Krunal and Kohli handled the middle overs in the second innings with composure, guiding the side to a comfortable finish.

Virat Kohli (51 off 47) provided strong backing for Krunal’s undefeated 73 off 47, which helped the club win its seventh IPL 2025 match and climb to the top of the points standings. The victory over DC, in which the batter contributed with both bat and ball, left the left-arm spinner feeling happy and satisfied.

It has taken me a while to find my batting rhythm. However, since I’ve been looking for something similar, it’s both really overwhelming and gratifying. Because I always knew that I will eventually have it, yet something was lacking. Once more, though, I would ask myself that question and remind myself, “Don’t give up, it will come.” It’s only that I can do it for the team and contribute, that’s all. “The cherry on top was that I wasn’t out, and when you put the team first, God blesses you in the right way, if the intentions are right,” Krunal stated in the RCB-released dressing room video.
