In his first season in the league, young hitter Swastik Chikara has been having a great time with Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the current IPL 2025. The cricket player has frequently stated that he enjoys being around the renowned batter and views RCB and India international Virat Kohli as his big brother. The latter, nevertheless, seemed a little irritated by Swastik’s persistent following of him in the changing room.
“If you could share one teammate from RCB who would be a great roommate to have or someone that you wouldn’t want to bunk with, who would it be and why, Virat?” He was recently questioned.
“I don’t believe it’s Swastik Chikara.” Since he never leaves me alone, it’s obviously not him,” Virat Kohli responded in a social media video posted by RCB.
The 36-year-old, however, stated that stumper-batter Jitesh Sharma is a comedian with whom he would not mind sharing a room. The Vidarbha cricketer’s street smarts on the pitch appear to have impressed Virat, even if he believes Jitesh hasn’t opened up to him well thus far.
However, Jitesh Sharma is a guy I find hilarious, but he hasn’t been completely honest with me. I can see it in his eyes that he has a sense of mischief, so I would like to see that very fun, raw side of him. As you can see on the pitch, he is incredibly street smart and sees things from several angles. In light of this, I’d like to learn more about the wicketkeeper-batter,” he said.

Speaking of Swastik, the youngster is yet to make a mark in the IPL, since he hasn’t gotten a game so far, despite making headlines during the Uttar Pradesh T20 League. The Ghaziabad-born has been a part of the Delhi Capitals squad previously and represents his home state UP in the domestic arena. Jitesh, on the other hand, has been a veteran in T20 cricket, and has had a terrific season with RCB, after being roped in for a whopping INR 11 crore at the mega auction.
