[Watch] IPL 2025: Virat Kohli shares hearty laugh on spotting man wearing CSK jersey at his restaurant

Virat Kohli, the star batsman for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru, erupted in laughing when he saw someone sporting a Chennai Super Kings (CSK) jersey at the One8 Commune food chain’s Bengaluru location. Kohli was hosting a team meal at the resto-bar when the event happened close to the entrance.

As soon as he stepped inside, Virat Kohli eyes instantly landed on the CSK jersey-wearer.

Before guiding his teammates forward, he made a playful gesture in the direction of the individual. Across social media, the viral video has gone viral.

Notably, on Wednesday, April 2, RCB will host the Gujarat Titans in their opening match of the current Indian Premier League season at Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium. They played away games against the Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders in their opening two games. With victories of seven wickets and fifty runs, respectively, RCB easily won both matches.

Player of the Match awards went to captain Rajat Patidar and all-rounder Krunal Pandya for their individual performances of 51 (32) and 3/29 against KKR and CSK.

Regarding Kohli’s performances, he opened the season with an undefeated 59 off 36 against KKR and then followed it up with a 31-ball 30 against CSK.

For the rest of the season, the former captain will naturally be the subject of a lot of hoopla. Kohli has been with the team for 18 seasons, including IPL 2025. Kohli, the top scorer in the prestigious T20 competition, just finished a respectable run in the Champions Trophy 2025. The IPL is still the sole venue for him to demonstrate his T20 abilities after he retired from T20Is last year.
